L'Arche is an international organisation with 137 communities in 40 countries. Founded in France in 1964 by Canadian former Royal Navy officer, Jean Vanier, L'Arche crosses political, cultural, social and religious borders.

Every L’Arche community offers people with a learning disability a family-style living environment that encourages them to create a home, to develop their talents, to build friendships and quite simply, to make the most of life!
