We have three houses in the Leith and Restalrig areas of Edinburgh where people with learning disabilities and assistants live together.

Four of our core members live in their own flats in Leith, with a team of assistants providing visiting and sleepover support to meet each person’s individual needs.

  • Live Out Assistant (Support Worker)

    £19,822 - £20,404 Live-Out (pro rata for part-time)/[£9.53-£9.81 per hour]. We welcome applications from those interested in full-time or part-time employment and also those interested in night work, work on a relief basis and Live-In Support Worker positions. Read more

  • Deputy Support and Care Leader

    Full-time, permanent role, £21,132 - £21,673     The Deputy Support and Care Leader post holder supports the Support and Care Leader to manage a Care at Home/Housing Support service registered with the Care Inspectorate for 6 core members (service users). The assistant team is made up of a mix of ‘live-in’ and ‘live-out’ support workers (called Assistants in L’Arche) who together provide 24 hour support, including waking nights. Occasional sleepovers may be required for this post. Read more
